About Us
501C3 Non-Profit Organization
Part of Rotary International, the oldest and largest service organization world-wide, the club focuses on both community and international service.
Among its service projects:
Presenting dictionaries annually to third grade students through-out the Kingman Unified School District, awarding Micro Grants to area teachers, Rotary Readers in which a Rotary member spends a half hour weekly with a third grade student who needs improvement in reading skills, annual scholarships, city youth basketball, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Interact, Peace Builder Club, Shelter Box and Open World.
To raise funds for these and other projects, the club holds 2 major fundraisers annually:
Kingman Festival of the Arts, held Mother’s Day weekend at Metcalfe Park and
Beer & Brats Oktoberfest, held the first Friday and Saturday in October at Metcalfe Park
